Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup neutral oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Fleischmann’s Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325(f) degrees. Lightly grease an 8-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl whisk together sugar, oil, eggs, pumpkin puree & vanilla until well combined.
  3. Sift in flour, baking soda, salt & pumpkin pie spice. Stir until the batter begins to come together. Add the buttermilk. Stir until incorporated.
  4. Transfer to the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until the top bounces back to touch. Let cool completely before slicing & serving.
