Ingredients

  • ¾ cups whole milk, warm
  • 1 teaspoon Fleischmann's Quick Rise Instant Yeast
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl add the whole milk & sprinkle in the yeast. Let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the butter, salt & flour. Mix until a wet dough comes together. Cover & let rise for 60 minutes.
  3. Divide dough into 8 equal portions & roll into a long rope. Wrap dough around a clean & shaved twig. Cook over an open fire until golden. Enjoy!
