Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Crown Lily White Corn Syrup
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 3 to 4 drops super-strength flavouring, such as bubble gum, cherry or lime
  • Food colouring (to match flavour)

Instructions

  1. Prep a set of silicone lollipop molds with candy sticks.
  2. In a heavy bottom pot gently stir together sugar, corn syrup & water. Insert a candy thermometer cook mixture over medium heat. Do not stir.
  3. Continue cooking until the temperature reaches 300(f) degrees. This is known as the hard crack stage. Add the flavouring & food colouring. Remove from heat.
  4. Working quickly & carefully, pour mixture into the prepared lollipop molds. Let cool for 30 minutes at room temperature until fully set.
