Irish Wheaten Bread
Ingredients
1-POUND LOAF
- 2/3 cup Buttermilk
- 3 tablespoons Water (70° to 80° F)
- 2 tablespoons Butter OR margarine, cut up
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1-3/4 cups Whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup Bread flour
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast
1-1/2-POUND LOAF
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1/4 cup Water (70° to 80° F)
- 3 tablespoons Butter OR margarine, cut up
- 3/4 teaspoon Salt
- 2-1/2 cups Whole wheat flour
- 1 cup Bread flour
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast

Instructions
- Measure all ingredients into bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer.
- Select basic/white bread cycle; medium/normal crust colour settings. Do not use delayed-bake feature.
- When cycle is complete, remove bread from pan; cool on wire rack.
