Sugar Pretzel Bites
Ingredients
- 1 package (2 ¼ teaspoon) Fleischmann’s Quick Rise Instant Yeast
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water, warm to touch
- 3 tablespoons neutral oil
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Fleischmann’s Baking Soda
- Melted butter, to finish
- Cinnamon sugar, to finish

Instructions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook attachment add yeast, sugar & water. Let stand for 5 minutes.
- Add oil, flour & salt. Knead on low speed until dough becomes smooth & elastic, about 5 minutes.
- Shape into a ball, transfer to a greased bowl, cover & let rise until doubled in size, about 1 ½ hours.
- Divide dough in quarters & roll each quarter into a 1-inch-thick rope. Slice into bite size pieces.
- Bring a large pot of boiling water to a boil & add the baking soda. Boil each piece of dough for 30 seconds & transfer to two lined baking sheets.
- Preheat the oven to 375(f) degrees. Bake until golden & cooked throughout, about 15 minutes.
- Brush each piece on both sides with melted butter & toss in cinnamon sugar. Serve immediately.
