Bananas Foster
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter OR margarine
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of ground nutmeg
- 3 firm bananas, peeled, halved and sliced lengthwise
- 1/4 cup Crown® Lily White® Corn Syrup
- 1 tablespoon rum OR banana liqueur, optional
- Vanilla ice cream

Instructions
- Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Add corn syrup when mixture begins to bubble; gently stir in bananas. Cook bananas for about 1 minute per side until hot. Remove from heat; add liqueur if desired. Serve immediately over ice cream.
