Bread Machine Buttermilk Bread
Ingredients
1-POUND LOAF (8 slices)
- 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon butter OR margarine, cut up
- 2 cups bread flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast
1-1/2-POUND LOAF (12 slices)
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon butter OR margarine, cut up
- 3 cups bread flour
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1-1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast
2-POUND LOAF (16 slices)
- 1-2/3 cups buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons butter OR margarine, cut up
- 4 cups bread flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast

Instructions
- Measure all ingredients into bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer, adding baking soda with flour. Process on basic/white bread cycle; use medium/normal crust color setting. Do not use delayed-bake feature. Remove bread from pan; cool on wire rack.
