Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon Fleischmann's® Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup drained, canned unsweetened apple slices OR pears in fruit juice, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 large eggs OR 1/2 cup egg substitute
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Mazola® Corn Oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray a 13 X 9 baking pan with cooking spray.
  3. Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and baking soda in medium bowl; set aside.
  4. Stir together remaining ingredients in another bowl; then add flour mixture, stirring until moistened. Pour into baking pan.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool on rack for 10 minutes before cutting.
