Gougères
Ingrédients
- 1/2 tasse d’eau
- 1/2 tasse de lait
- 1/2 tasse de beurre non salé, coupé en cubes
- 1 tasse de farine tout usage
- 2 tablespoons Fleischmann’s Corn Starch
- 1/2 c. à thé de sel
- 4 gros œufs
- 4 oz finely grated cheddar cheese, plus more to finish
- 2 oz freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 pincée de muscade
- 1 pinch ground pepper
- Dorure à l’œuf

Méthode
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- To a saucepan over medium heat add water, milk & butter. Bring to a gentle simmer & lower heat.
- Add the flour, cornstarch & salt. Vigorously stir until dough comes together. Transfer to a mixing bowl & let cool slightly.
- Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Fold in the cheeses, nutmeg & pepper. Transfer batter to a piping bag fitted with a round tip.
- On the prepared baking sheet, pipe dough into 12 evenly sized rounds. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until fully puffed & golden. Do not open the oven door as it bakes, as you don’t want any heat to escape!
- Let cool slightly & serve!
